Ford wanted you to have the best on its F-150. They accomplished that by giving you an optional 10-speed automatic transmission to be paired with a monster lineup of engines. A standard 6-speed automatic transmission is paired with a base model 3.3-liter V6 engine that powers out 290 horsepower. A 2.7-liter turbo V6 engine is wonderful at 325 horsepower, but that's just the beginning of this one's capabilities.
