The 2019 Ford EcoSport comes with two powertrain choices. In all but the SES trim, FWD and a turbo 1.0L three-cylinder engine are included. Ford's engineers managed to get 123hp and 125 lb. ft. of torque from that small engine. AWD and a 2.0L four-cylinder are standard on the SES and optional on other trims. The larger engine offers 166hp and 149 lb. ft. of torque. In that configuration, the SUV can tow up to one ton. The 2019 EcoSport gets an EPA-rated 27mpg in the city and 29mpg on the highway.
