Mount Dora FL - 2021 Ford Super Duty's Overview

Exterior - 2021 Ford Super Duty

Both the 2021 Ram 2500 and Ford F-250 are available in three cab styles, but Ram uses terminology that may confuse consumers not familiar with them. Ford offers a regular cab, which is a traditional single cab; the SuperCab, which is a double cab with rear-hinged rear doors; and the SuperCrew, which is a crew cab with four full-size doors. Ram offers a regular cab, a crew cab and a Mega Cab. This is where the terminology is odd since Ram’s crew is actually a double and its Mega Cab is comparable to Ford’s SuperCrew. Ford offers a 6.75-foot box and an 8-foot box. The regular cab comes with the long bed, and the two extended cabs give you the choice of either bed. Options are similar with the Ram 2500. The differences are that the short bed measures 6 feet 4 inches, and the Mega Cab comes with the short box only.

The Ford and Ram regular cab can seat up to three with a front beach and up to two with front bucket seats. In both the regular, double and crew cabs, the front row is a bit more spacious in the Ford: an extra inch of headroom and about three additional inches of legroom. The extended cabs can seat up to six or five depending on your seating choice. The second row of the extended cabs are similar. Headroom is practically the same, and Ford offers a half inch more legroom. Note that in both cases, the crew cab offers about 10 inches more legroom than the double cab of the same brand.

The base powertrain for the 2021 Ram 2500 features an eight-speed and 6.4L V8 rated for 410 hp and 429 lb.-ft. Trim Levels - 2021 Ford Super Duty dealer

The 2021 Ford Super Duty is available at Prestige Ford in six trims: XL, XLT, Lariat, King Ranch, Platinum and Limited. The XL is a work truck. The XLT is well-equipped, and the Lariat is aimed at the average and perhaps family-oriented consumer. The King Ranch and Platinum are both luxury oriented, and the Platinum is the range-topper and includes practically all of the equipment available for the F-250. Ram offers the 2500 in six core trims as well: Tradesman, Big Horn, Laramie, Power Wagon, Longhorn and Limited. The Tradesman, Big Horn and Laramie compare to the F-250 XL, XLT and Lariat. The Longhorn and Limited compare to the Platinum and Limited. The Power Wagon is an off-road trim that does not have an equivalent in the Ford lineup. Likewise, the Western-themed King Ranch has no comparable in the Ram lineup.
