The 2022 Ford Super Duty series available at Prestige Ford of Mount Dora comprises the F-250, F-350 and F-450. The main difference between those three models are the payload and towing capabilities. The standard powertrain pairs a 6.2L V8 engine—385 horsepower and 430 pound-feet of torque—with a six-speed automatic transmission. If you want a more powerful V8, Ford offers a 7.3L V8—430 hp and 475 lb.-ft.—with a 10-speed automatic. Drivers who want a diesel powertrain have the option of a 6.7L Turbo Diesel V8—475 hp and 1,050 lb.-ft.—also paired with the 10-speed. Maximum towing capacity depends on a number of factors, including the series, engine, drive configuration, axle ratio and so forth. The F-250 can tow between 12,200 and 22,800 pounds.
