Prestige Ford of Mount Dora is thrilled to announce that our customers can now test-drive the new Ford Super Duty near Orlando, FL, at our location. 2023 is a big model year for Ford as it kicks off the all-new fourth Super Duty generation. That means there are many changes, but the available trim levels should seem familiar to you. The XL is the work truck and the most affordable option. The XLT adds amenities and technologies aimed at the average customer. The Lariat is a well-equipped model. The King Ranch is similar but with a Western theme. The Platinum is a luxury-oriented pickup, and the Limited adds many high-end exclusives. The standard 6.2-liter V8 that has long served the Super Duty series as the standard engine remains but receives several notable updates. The six-speed automatic transmission has been retired, and it’s now mated to Ford’s newer 10-speed transmission. Ford has also revised the air intake and refined the tuning, which has resulted in improved performance numbers. Ford has introduced an all-new 6.7-liter Power Stroke V8 for drivers who prefer a diesel powertrain instead. Payload and towing ratings have been improved as well. The Super Duty can now haul as much as 8,000 pounds and tow as much as 40,000 pounds. The exterior has been redesigned as well. The Super Duty has integrated elements from the new designs for the smaller F-150 and Maverick models. The 2023 Super Duty design includes functional side vents. The cabin has been redesigned as well. That consists of a complete dashboard makeover that integrates a new digital instrument panel and infotainment touchscreen. Available displays are now as large as 12 inches. Finally, Ford now makes four-wheel drive standard on the XLT and up, which means that most Super Duty vehicles sold and leased from this point on will be 4x4 vehicles.
