The King Ranch is similar but Western themed. The Platinum is luxury-oriented, and the Limited ups the luxury quotient even more. This year’s focus has been providing off-road enthusiasts more options than ever. The base trim can be outfitted with the FX4 Off-Road package, or you can opt for the Rattler package, which includes the FX4 suspension and other items but also adds a transfer case, front differential, and more. You also have the Tremor, which is even more off-road capable but otherwise equipped like the Lariat. If you want a performance off-road pickup, your options include the Raptor, and Raptor R. The Raptor R features a supercharged V8, the most powerful engine currently available for the F-150. A wide range of powertrains is also available with the standard models. All are paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission, and you can choose either rear-wheel or four-wheel drive. The base engine is a 3.3-liter V6 that provides 290 horsepower and 265 pound-feet of torque. An optional turbocharged 2.7-liter V6 makes 325 hp and 400 lb.-ft.
