Summer 2023 is an exciting time for Mustang fans as this is when the all-new Ford Mustang arrives, and the team at Prestige Ford of Mount Dora encourages all of our customers to test-drive the new Ford Mustang near Clermont, FL, at our location. The new model, built on a modern platform, kicks off the seventh Mustang generation. You can expect a redesigned exterior style with all-new body panels and a redesigned cockpit and cabin as well. The entire dashboard has been reconfigured and now features a larger digital information screen and a larger center touch screen. The EcoBoost is the base trim and is sold exclusively as a coupe. The EcoBoost Premium is the up-level trim and is the point in the lineup where you can also choose the convertible body style. It also adds many popular amenities and technologies. The GT trim level is the point in the lineup where a V8 engine is standard, and the Dark Hose is a special option for the inaugural year of the seventh generation. It is offered in either a Dark Horse or Dark Horse Premium package with limited availability. The EcoBoost models are powered by a turbocharged 2.3-liter inline four-cylinder engine that balances fuel performance and overall performance: 315 horsepower and 350 pound-feet of torque. A 10-speed automatic transmission is standard here. With the GT trim level and beyond, you have the choice of an automatic or a six-speed manual transmission. Those models have the 5.0-liter V8 known as the Coyote. It has been carried forward from the previous generation but with significant improvements, so it now outputs 480 hp and 415 lb.-ft.
